Collection date & location are selected at the checkout. Items can be collected from Wilma's Bakery Southend-on-Sea, Wilma's Bakery Rayleigh, or Wilma's Bakery Leigh-on-Sea. Collections are from 10:30am until close at your chosen store.
Weddings & Wilma’s cakes are a match made in heaven! And, the great news is: You can have a Wilma’s Wedding cake on the day you say ‘I Do’. Our off the shelf wedding cakes are a great alternative to a consultation and a bespoke design. All you need to do is select your design, choose a flavour and select your date.
Our two tier Fruity Classic Wedding Cake only needs unboxing and it’s ready to shine. The cake is decorated with seasonal berries and fruits, along with macarons and white chocolate shavings. This cake is decorated with a natural buttercream coloured outer which is sophisticated, elegant and in an ivory shade.
You can pick a total of two flavours for your cake. Choose from the ever popular flavours: Chocolate Fudge, Creamy Vanilla, Victoria Sponge or opt for something a little more fancy like Red Velvet, Lemon Drizzle or Carrot cake. This cake can be made without gluten or vegan but both tiers must be made in a ‘Baked without Gluten’ or ‘Vegan’ flavour to ensure each tier does not contaminate the other. Please not that should you opt to have our fruit classic made as a vegan cake, it will be made without white chocolate shavings and Macarons as these are not vegan. Our fruity classic wedding cake comes as a 6&8” two tier and stands approximately 11.5” Tall. Our two tier cakes, have internal supports inside that are not edible and will need to be removed when cutting the cake.
We recommend that you collect your cake the day before the wedding and if possible deliver it straight to the venue for refrigeration. It is essential that the cake MUST be kept refrigerated until put onto display and we recommend doing this as close to guests arriving as possible. As all Wilma’s cakes are made with buttercream, they are best put on show in an air conditioned room/venue. It is also important that our cakes travel in a cool car with the air conditioning on full power. Our two tier cakes are fragile and will require extra care during transport from our shops to your wedding venue. Please note: Our ‘Off the shelf’ Wedding cakes cannot be amended to other flavours or colours or have design amendments. These designs are pre-set for ease in ordering.
